Katherine Maher has been appointed as the new CEO of Web Summit following the resignation of Paddy Cosgrave. Cosgrave stepped down after his comments on the Israel-Hamas conflict caused some companies to withdraw from the upcoming conference. Maher, the former CEO of Wikimedia Foundation, will lead Web Summit as it enters its next phase.
