Shein and PDD Holdings-owned Temu have filed joint declarations in U.S. courts to end their legal battles with each other. The low-price online platforms did not provide details on the reason for dismissing their complaints or whether a settlement had been reached. Shein had accused Temu of making disparaging remarks about the retailer and tricking customers, while Temu alleged that Shein violated U.S. antitrust laws. Both companies have denied any wrongdoing. Shein, valued at $66 billion, and Temu, targeting $16 billion in gross merchandising volume in 2023, have disrupted the global retailing industry with their fast fashion and low-price models.
