Equinix, a data center company based in California, has revised its annual revenue forecast due to concerns about a challenging macroeconomic environment. The company now expects annual revenue to be between $8.17 billion and $8.21 billion, lower than its previous estimate of $8.17 billion to $8.25 billion. Analysts predict annual revenue to reach $8.20 billion. Equinix reported third-quarter revenue of $2.06 billion, in line with analysts’ expectations. Adjusted core earnings increased by 7% to $936 million, and the company expects similar figures for the current quarter. Data center demand remains strong, but the supply situation in major markets remains tight. Data center spending is expected to grow by more than 3% this year, lower than the previous estimate of 6%, as demand slows and major cloud companies reduce inventory.
