Indonesia’s largest tech firm, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia, reported a significant drop in underlying losses for the third quarter. The company recorded 942 billion rupiah ($59.30 million) in underlying losses, down from last year’s 3.7 trillion rupiah. The positive results were attributed to cost-cutting measures and a reduction in operating expenses. GoTo aims to achieve profitability by the end of this year. The company, backed by SoftBank and GIC, announced that it will not pursue an initial public offering in international markets at this time as it has sufficient cash for its operations.
